I would have went for the Obutto instead since it doesn't have a pole between your legs (also comes with a keyboad and mouse plate). Playseat does takes up less room and  easier to put away which it probably why you choose it.

 Are you getting both a  wheel stand and Playseat?

 p.s If you want your brake pedal  more resistance  like a real brake pedal you may want to look at the nixim mod (cost around $15). Be warned though if you mod your G27 in any way it will void your warranty.
