Seriously, you don't need to understand a language to judge expressiveness on the whole. Yes, expressiveness in a specific situation, to judge whether it actually fits, but that's what you have the subs for if you don't understand the language.
Anyway, unless you are stuck watching anime with someone who likes the opposite option, just move on. I agree that the fanboys' moaning subs>dubs is annoying, but the opposite is equally so. Anime DVDs come with both tracks by default so where's the problem?
