Thanks for the advice, I'll start looking into those!
I do need a second monitor so I stop stealing The Wife's but the problem is where my computer is sit on the other side of the room from my TV. Luckily that's not a large area but it's still annoying enough.
I have been considering moving the room around because it is just an odd shape, I just haven't really got the energy to get around to doing it.
