This game is going to sell well. It's a properly done Star Wars MMO compared to the mess that was Star Wars Galaxies. My only real issue so far with the game is that Jedi and Sith are classes, so I feel like everyone is going to be running around with a lightsaber. The single player style quests can actually be a very big innovation for MMOs. Instead of find X animal pelts or kill X amount of bandits you might actually be able to do something that feels significant in the world.
Longevity might be an issue because I really don't know how many MMOs can be successful simultaneously. However, Warhammer Online really didn't have much that seperated it from other fantasy MMOs that already had large install bases. If you're going to make a fantasy MMO that directly competes with WoW, Guild Wars, and LotR Online it better have something very fresh.
I dunno maybe it's just the Star Wars fanboy in me but TOR looks like it could be a great change of pace from all the fantasy MMOs that are popular right now. It's got some interesting ideas that can make it a fresh experience compared to what is considered the tried and true MMO mold.
