I will mention that many months ago Bioware TOR team was spouting off their Voice acting. I had also mentioned that voice acting is expensive and takes up a lot of HDD space. I also mentioned that they are focusing way to much on voice acting. Seriously I agree with this guy in regards to what he is saying about Biowares ToR.

For those of you who are veteran to MMO's and seen the TOR game play. Then you will know that it plays out like WoW and it's clones. There is nothing that Star Wars about it except for the name. There are also bizaar flaws coming along.

Statements along the lines of
"If you want Boba Fett and Vader battling together you can."
"When you think Smuggler, you think Han-Solo."
"When you think Jedi, you think Luke Skywalker."
"When you think Bounty Hunter, you think Boba-Fett."
"Every person has their own unique voice."

The straight of it. Is that the design of ToR is a copy and paste of the original Trilogy put after Biowares fantastic KotoR games. There are soo many options and other factors to Star Wars that made KotoR awesome, but aren't being considered.

For example Canderous is a Mandlorian, so is Boba Fett. Guess what they don't dress the same. Boba-Fett armour is Mandalorian battle armour. However it's given that Boba-Fett's armour is common Bounty Hunter gear in ToR, but never was in SW. Han-Solo outfit is part of the Corelian Navy with a few mods. However the the smuggler clothing that is expressed in the videos is well Han-Solo. The entire mentality is that ToR is not unique or imaginative. Then theres the bad-ass bounty hunter that hunts you down in the first game. Looks nothing like Boba-Fett. It was creative and felt right. It felt SW without just trying to reskin.

KotoR was awesome because it was done by imaginative people that used non SW movies as inspiration. Remember that Inspiration. Where as ToR isn't about Inspiration and more about re-skinning and IP that's on a downward spiral because of the shitty prequels, the changes made to the trilogy.

As for combat. If you seen it. it plays like WoW. I've been to the Bioware boards and many hardcore Bioware fans that have never played MMO's before. Well they think the combat is new and is nothing like WoW and it's clones. They have plugged their ears and are going la la la la. It's a pity too.

Will ToR be good? not on the merits of being SW or an MMO. At least Bioware has some control. If ToR sells well it will be on the merits of their excellent story telling. I'm still going to play ToR on that alone. They are trying to add Story to an MMO and I hope it works. Cause so far from everything not relating to the Story. Well let's just say it's been done and feels very disparaging.

I'm willing to be wrong, but their video's so far more off putting than exiting. I don't want to play modern SW I want' to play KotoR multi player.
