honestly, I would rather them buy behemoth games, the people that made alien hominid and castle crashers.
However, the one acquisition that would truly make Microsoft a player in game development would be Epic. I don't think it is possible with their tech so widely adopted this gen, but maybe next gen another big middleware engine will surface and Microsoft will be able to buy them out.
