The media are going to have a field day, Sony's reputation has been knocked down a notch and it's all because a developer can't even release a game after 5 years of development.

Please don't let change in release date affect your opinion of the games quality.

A quality game shouldn't have to take more than 5 years to develop. Santa Monica have released 3 God of Wars, Insomniac have released 7 games, Naughty Dog have released two of the greatest games of the generation and Turn 10 have released 3 Forza's in the same amount of time it's taking Polyphony to develop one game. It's ridiculous and it's only lowering my expectations of the game.

I'm still buying it, but I'm not going to be happy about it.
