I think the Android phones will emerge victorious. It is interesting to see the iPhone user defending the phone in amongst the onslaught that is the Android. For me the iPhones days are numbered partially because of the walled garden and partly because of the exclusivity but mainly because the Android is neither a walled garden or exclusive.
I am less sure about Windows 7 they have attempted to wall off the hardware which is probably a good idea as it will certainly help with keeping the phones current but I am not really sure how this applies to applications.
