Gears of War 3 will be the best selling Gears of War game. Hopefully it gets pushed back for a later release to maximise its sales. Games have suffered in sales due to early year releases. Big games must be released in the final third of the year if maximisation of sales and the maximising profits is ideal to a big name franchise.
March/April release would adversely impact upon its sales. We all know that a September/October/November release is optimal for maximising the sales of a game on the lead up to Xmas. Timing of a game's release is critical.
