and yeah Jordan is an icon... we probably have soccer equivalents (pele maradona), but he has a certain charisma too (can't believe I failed to see an hawks/wizards game when I was living in atl and he made his comeback......).

i compare with last year's because i didn't buy it. my friends did. i just played with them. i said i never bought another bb game since '05, but i did play with my friends since they bought it :P (edit: my original post was unclear about that, thanks for pointing it out)
what nba live reboot? it's been canceled or postponed indefinitely (if you're talking about elite). ever since 2 years ago, i started playing 2k. but before that, i was a diehard live fan.
it's slam dunk. best anime ever.

no idea. i think that nba jam is going to be sold separately in disc form? i think elite will be released around the playoffs, if they release it at all.
i don't know about the wii version, but the ps3 version has some pretty amazing move functionality (like you can shoot, pass etc as if you were really playing). then again, i wouldn't advise a non-hd sports game coz the players will look worse than they already do.
