Instead, we get this horrible mess with an interface that feels like it was made in 1995, gameplay decisions that lead me to believe the people in charge never actually played any other MMO (including FFXI!), and just a general completely unfinished game. The most upsetting part is the game had the potential to totally rock the MMO world but they wasted it on things that others have been doing right for years. I was thinking I was going to give the game another try when the PS3 version comes out but the more I think about it, the angrier this game makes me and frankly I don't think it deserves a second chance. I can't wait for this game to fail and the servers to shut down. |
Yeah I'd do the same if I were in your shoes.
I thought for a moment that Square should take in all these reviews and fix SOME of the major fail issues in FF XIV for the PS3 version but then I realised that there isn't time for Square to do that (also considering they're having a difficult time fitting the game onto the PS3). So yeah, I wouldn't give the PS3 version a go if the PC version was abysmal.
