While this is great when you are talking asexual but sexual is a different story altogether.

 Fruit flies are resisting evolution. Evolution requires small steps but these small steps toward progress is very rare and then get lost in all the neutral mutation in the sea of genetic drift.  It's take well planning to avoid gambler's ruin.

 This is the problem with evolution thinkers , they believe bacteria antibody resistance is the same as creatures growing totally new complex parts like eyes, nose, wings,etc.
