The average single guy from the age of 18-24 today:
Assuming this person has a job on taxes spends in NY...
1. Mass Transit: from $1000-3000 a year.
2. Sales Tax: $1200 (modest)
3. Utility Taxes: $188 (based on a usual apartment) (not including cell phones and such)
The numbers above are based on a friends complaint.
