So this thread turned into a graphics discussion, well done...
Honestly, what do some of you think here? As already mentioned, at the time Gears 3 will be released Uncharted 2 will be 2 years old! Why do some people expect that Gears 3 will look worse? It's not like Uncharted 2 couldn't be done on 360, but... well... I know, I see a lot of bias in here from both sides, but whatever... I fully expect it to look better than UC2, if it doesn't I'd think that 360's graphical limits have already been reached.
Furthermore... there are people in this thread who might think that it will definitely be the best looking game to date or better looking than any PS3 game (at least that's what I sense in some people's comments). Umm, one question... how can you be so sure? Is the PS3 suddenly less powerful than the 360? But oh, I forgot, bias in here..., and that's actually the reason why some here already call it GOTY without even playing it.
Seriously guys, there are many games that could surpass UC2's graphics in 2011 (I think God of War 3 already did it this year, but whatever), like Crysis 2, Killzone 3, inFamous 2, FF Versus XIII (if it releases in 2011), Gears of War 3, Rage, and probably a few others. So honestly, surpassing a 2 year old game in graphics isn't as impressive as many here probably think.
