there is no way to balance rush/eco builds in 3v3 or 4v4 - Blizzard won't touch that
as for drops - that's why I have my overlords or buildings all spread out around my bases to spot the ships and snipe them or snipe the units that come out (unlike Warp Prisms Medivacs can only drop units one by one)
