Its very contriversial for us living in NATO countries where our troops are fighting the Taliban. But should EAGames have given in to pressure and remove Taliban as playable characters? I remember saying in a prior thread that all this contriversy could actually have helped MedalOfHonour, but now that its gone I doubt sales will be helped by the contriversy.

Now origionally EAGames made several statements that the Taliban would be played like the robbers in a game of cops and robbers. They said they stuck by their decision to include Taliban. It sure added realism to the game realism that COD:MW doesn't have. A real world conflict that you can take on the mission our troops are fighting.

So was it smart for EAGames to appease a few angry individuals at the cost of their game's legitamacy? Or should EA have stuck to their guns and kept the Taliban playable?

Was it smart to remove the Taliban?
