Oh shit... they're actually letting reviewers decide what games they keep on shelves?  That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.  If every company did that, I wouldn't be able to buy half my favorite games.

You're right, this is dumb...

On second thought, this is actually scary.  This sets a bad precedent.

Reviews aren't just the problem. Sales have been on a downward spiral.

If a Sonic game is shit, people are less likely to buy future releases.

I'm not sure what pulling old games will accomplish. But I understand why they want to sweep them under the rug.

Exactly, however I gotta say the damage has already been done. I guess they are thinking of the new consumers who aren't familiar with Sonic. Say a new Wii owner buys a Wii and wants a Sonic game, they see Black Knight for sale at 14.99$ or Colours at 59.99$ they would probubly choose Black Knight. Then they hate Black Knight and decide to pass on future Sonic titles.

I think thats what Sega is trying to prevent. They want Sonic restored to the AAA IP it used to be known as. Forgetting all of the under achievers is in Sega's best interest.
