Not sure what video you're trying to show, but the Epic Citadel on my phone isn't quite that impressive. Maybe it's using a few tricks that didn't show up until Gears or something, but it's pretty obvious that it doesn't have a heck of a lot of texture memory to play with.

My demo also doesn't have a single character anywhere in it. I'm sure those early 360 games would have looked nicer if they had no enemies or characters at all.

Out of curiosity on what hardware did you run the thing?

On iPhone 3GS and iPad. iPad has very similar resolution and CPU to the iPhone 4, though the iPhone 4 does have more RAM, so I suppose it might perform best on that device.

What impressed me about the demo:

- Great texture art. It really obscures the fact that textures are being re-used a lot.

- Attention to detail is better than any other iOS game. That means great ambient sound and objects swaying in the breeze.

- Best tap-to-move implementation I've ever used. Perhaps that's because there was nothing to interact with so all you can do is move and look around...

What didn't impress me:

- No characters, as mentioned above.

- Lousy framerate. Passable most of the time, but get to the edge of the map and turn to look at the tower. Chunks down to what feels like 10 fps.
