Well i have to partially agree with the op. After being blow away by FF VI and FF VII, i was ok with FF VIII and FF IX and was again blow away with FF X. But after FF X, i keep on playing the others but was not really blow away, there were just ok, but FF VI, VII and X are the example they should follow in an FF, FF XIII did try some of VII and XIII but they got it only half right. Lets hope they got it right in FF XV in 2014, lol
