I define myself as agnostic, not Christian ...
Christian conservatives understand that their religion "commands them" to personally be charitable, not to offload the work to a highly corrupt bureaucratic nightmare of a government. This is why when you walk into a homeless shelter, food bank, or most other charities that serve the impoverished you will find that the vast majority of volunteers are christian conservatives.
