That happened to me to. I have a 60 gig model. It just stopped reading discs. I could download stuff off of PSN and stream stuff off my computer, but no DVDs, CDs, or games could be played. I called Sony, and they replaced the system within three weeks (this was the time of calling, them sending the box to ship it in, and to send the new one back).
