I had the collectors edition on preorder back in July. I got access to the closed beta..played it for a while and ended up canceling my preorder. This was the first numbered FF title that I didn't buy on launch day. I might end up getting it one day, but for now way to many games on the backlog that deserve more attention. I do agree with the score , the game is a mess. It almost feels like Square Enix decided that this is the release date for the game and they were going to release it regardless if the product was finished or not.

Yeah, I'm actually worried about how hard it's going to be to cancel my account!
And I had the CE preordered too and seriously considered cancelling it after playing the beta but decided to go ahead with it since I already had it completely payed for. Ugh, first Collector's Edition I've bought for a game in at least five years and it's that piece of garbage. The CE bonuses weren't even that good considering I already had one of the security dongles and the speed boost boots worked for about a minute a day.
