I said education, not theology.
Education teaches you how to learn, how to analyze, how to criticize, which are important in almost any field, and in life in general. And the more educated your voters are, the more efficient your democracy is.
Theology teaches you abstract religious philsophies that haven't changed in thousands of years, and it can't help you pay your bills.
