Does 3D hog the CPU?

Did it look 1080p, i've only seen off screen gameplay and can't gauge if its 1080p

I think nearly everone I talked to (and myself) did notice a difference resolution wise between the 3D mode and the normal mode, but it was not a bad thing as there was just too much awesomeness going on, like buildings falling etc, can't wait to see the full version!!

Just a thing to note that 3D games on the 3DS will also take a hit graphically, so stop complaining already
