I do get the gf before 21 thing - I still have a few friends my age who haven't gone anywhere, so I'm good! (though that sounds horrible, like I'm wishing misfortune upon them, I prefer being "tied" than last after all)
Anyway, g'luck to wfz on that situation... sounds rough. Though it's hard to imagine / relate to, because for a few years now, I think I've detached myself from being dependent on anyone. If I lost everyone I cared about, I think I'd move on relatively easily, as long as I still had something to entertain myself. Though I already reminisce way too much as it is...
