I'm not buying that the costs of 3 discs outweigh the benefit of those sales. So yeah, I stick by my original sentiment that this is rather dumb.

Sony seems to be the ones who are pushing this whole Classics HD thing, they've even got a new box specifically made for them. I'm betting Sony talked Ubisoft and Warner Bros. into making the collections and probably pushed them along during the production, it also doesn't help that they can use the GOW collection as an example of success.

This was probably the nail in the coffin.  I'm guessing the reason why they probably won't bring it to the 360 is because they can't fit all of them into 1 disc.  So now Sony has this and Sly Collection releasing in November.  Along with GT5.  *Looks at wallet*

DAM YOU SONY!!!!

Again, I'd love someone to show me a source where the price of an extra disc made a difference in whether or not a game went to a certain system. Final Fantasy and Castlevania all have multiple discs, so are you telling me they happily ate that cost, while Ubisoft refuses (as if they didn't have the money)? I'd like a link showing me where the cost of a disc is an arm and a leg as it's implied in this thread.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.
