Yes. Call of Duty: Black Ops can output 3D signals for televisions that implement an active-shutter stereoscopic 3D technology. Xbox 360 users need a television that supports a “side by side” 3D mode. PlayStation 3 users need a television that supports a “top-bottom” or “over-under” 3D mode. PC users need a monitor that supports Nvidia 3D Vision 3D technology.

Side to side and over/under are perfect for me...It is interesting that they don't state that either version doesn't need HDMI 1.4.

Could it be that Sony have locked out only their own games from non HDMI 1.4 TVs?

PS3 doesn't have HDMI 1.4... but I don't know if was necessary TV with HDMI 1.4 support for 3D on PS3.

And "Side by side" mode was choice for 360 because limitation of HDMI.
