the erganomic design u speak of is used in alot of things, nintendo didnt invent this design that perfetly fits in ur hand. cooking items are shaped with curved handles, electric razors, tools, infact most comfortable thing that you hold feature a similar shape to the handls on a n64, gc and wii nunchuck, nintendo just put this design feature to use in the controler
Your definatly giving nintendo to much cred as far as design is concerned, they just looked to the world for what worked and put it in the shape of the controlers handles
