Mass Effect 2, Halo Reach, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Convition, and Crack Down 2. All great games. Then there was a few lesser known, but still good exclusives like Metro 2033, DeathSmiles, Ninty Nine Nights 2, and Supreme Commander 2. That's just off the top of my head, there could be more 360 exclusives I've forgetong about. Oh and we are still waiting for Fable 3 and Kinect, although Kinect's real potentional won't be seen untill next year. On a side note I want to add that Alan Wake is truly game of the year material. It getting lost during the release of Red Dead Redemption is a real injustice. Alan Wake is so good it's the first game I've paid for DLC content and I'm waiting eagerly for it's next episode. Splinter Cell: Conviction is also damn good and underrated. Halo Reach is so good I'll probably be playing to longer than any other game this year. Good good stuff all around. It's been a very good year. I just wanted to correct you about quality fun games released this year. There's been plenty and I'm willing to bet that Fable 3 won't disapoint either. Oh and I'm in my late 20's and I still enjoy Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. You don't grow out of the classics. Fun games are fun no matter how old you are. Mario is timeless. You don't turn 20 and suddeling et a notice in the mail that you can't enjoy games without extreme violence. |
Sorry I don't agree with you on the bolded games, I may as well put in WKC as well because in my opinion it's a brilliant game, but not everyone has the same view as me.
I dunno why I outgrew zelda and mario, I just did, maybe it's because I am a girl and I prefer more mature titles like Heavy Rain now, who knows and violence is not everything, myself I would rather have a good story over graphics anyday, hence FF8 is still my favourite RPG despite advances in technology.
Anyway enough of that as it is each to their own
it's the future of handheld
