If you look at gun statistics you notice that there are 3 main factors to likely being shot.

1) Being Young

2) Being Male

Well outside of accidental self shootings.

First off I know how likely you are to be randomly shot. I'm actually quite the gun enthusiast. I know the chances are quite small. But I really don't see it being smaller then randomly being gunned down by terrorists in Europe.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there are more people shot in America(by a stranger) then Europeans shot by terrorists yearly, right? 

Depends on the location.

Besides you're also talking about two kinds of events.  One unplanned unavodiable event, and a planned avoidable event.

You are less likely to be hit by lightning then both events... yet it's still not advisiable to go run around with a metal bat in the rain is it?
