I guess you can never second guess people who are, no matter how cunning and otherwise intelligent, operating from an untenable basis... but this would still seem a very unlikely move.  An attack in UK maybe, due to close links to US, but other European countries?  Just wouldn't make tactical or strategic sense at all.

I mean, they actually found information and plans of it happening though... and the last few terrorist attacks by them have been in europeon countries haven't they?

Oh sure.  I mean, I can imagine they could do it.  I'm just saying it wouldn't really make sense from a more strategic perspective, particularly now as I noted... but of course that doesn't always factor into a Terrorist's plans and sometimes they do seem to decide that anything that gets attention, causes unrest and can be claimed as some sort of victory is worth it.
