PS3 Music in Games why is most of it in Lossy formats?

I think it's in lossy formats like mp3 and aac because the average person a) can't tell the difference between that and a lossless formats like PCM, b) most people only have 2 channel stereo audio and c) most games are multiplatform and 360 dvd-roms dont have enough space for lossless audio.
