Hmmm, its interesting because MS will cut the lifespan of the 360 if they release in 2012, and the problem they have now (which is not many exclusive games) will be repeated when they launch so they're playing a zero sum game. i wouldnt be supprised if for this reason, instead of releasing a HD console, they release something more like the Wii with massive support for kinect and motion controls.
