It could go either way. I think Microsoft will continue to carve out their niche... at least for the next 20 years, there will be gamers who simply prefer a "traditional" control scheme, and these are the people Microsoft will get. Sony isn't as well defined as the other two companies... they're the wild card. I have no idea what they might do.
