principle issue aside. surely this solves nothing anyway. American soldiers are still being tracked down and killed willing by the player playing as opposing forces side. the solution like Kain_Kusanagi said in the gamrfeed thread would be to not make the good guys American and not make the bad guys the Taliban.
If they most keep them who they are they should only let you play as American but the other team who is also playing as American appears as the taliban. this way you are only killing the taliban but you may get killed as american (to you) like all other games. this way you are not trying to kill the good guys.
