You are wrong, it's not a generic beatemup, i wouldn't even call it a beat em up. The game is a platform action/adventure with great and varied gameplay . The fighting is NOT the games' focus , this is not a pure action game .It's more of an Uncharted clone with more fighting than shooting and more platforming.
The game is an Edge 8 , in the purest sense. Plus metacritic sucks, there's only 2-3 reviews that matter for each game , IMO.
