Exactly the post I wanted to make for some time now, but I'm not allowed to make threads with less than 100 forum posts :S
Back on topic:
I think you are right.Kinect is launching but Microsoft also needs their hardcore fanbase satisfied with more "gamer" games. A big part of those 43 milion consoles sold were by the "hardcore" gamers. Some of them will find some joy in Kinect, but they also want "normal" games which you can play like a couch potato with a controller in your hands.
