OK, so ... this seems like it's giving the mafia a sizeable advantage.  I trust you're balancing it out somehow.

If someone dies, I assume their dragonballs are just lost?  That seems pretty bad if one townie has amassed a bunch and then dies, especially if he did so by stealing from other townies.

And I presume the mafia accrue DBs normally, it's jst that they can use them collectively?  So a mafia stolen from/dying would lose their individual DBs in the same way a townie would?

1:The wishes are not going to be incredible things. They are minor advantages and the wishes on the mafia side are slightly less powered compared to the town ones.

2)Their dragonballs will simply fly off to random players.

3)Yes, the mafia will accrue a dragonball the same way townies do. And no, they cannot use them collectively. A mafia will have to take them from other mafia players. It's not like "ok we have 7 dbs combined, let's use friezas wish". They will first have to figure out how to get them all to one player, and during the night where you get your seventh ball, the wish is granted (but can be delayed until later)

It balances itself when mafia uses a wish because then the 7 balls they used get distributed among the players.

Keep in mind that there will be powers and roles relating to the dragonballs as well, so town will have a pretty good advantage as well.

But like I said, the wishes are not game-breaking. They will do things like "protect a random person" "kill  a random person" "temporarily revive X for one post" "double voting power for one day" etc. etc. They will simply be small changes to the gameplay.

Additionally, there will be other measures involved to keep it balanced.
