There is a large empathy-deficit in this world unfortunately. I find the "he's a bitch"/"i have no symapthy for people who suicide"/"we're lucky he's no longer with us" comments disgusting.

The room mate who recorded and posted the video on the other hand, I have zero empathy for that scumbag. Human trash like that have no place sharing oxygen with the rest of us.

Yeah I'd have to say empathy is almost non-existant with today's teens including me. I don't get how you can feel bad for someone so cowardly that he takes his own life because he can't deal with consequences of his own actions. I know he didn't intend on getting filmed, and the guys who did it are assholes, but he has to live with what he did.

How would you feel if someone recorded you having sex with a girl? Would you want the whole world to see you do something so private like that? You have any idea how much that would hurt your reputation? Employers google search their candidates you know. Perhaps you may feel that this would make you a stud but that stuff will come back to haunt you.

Now imagine the negative consequences of that and multiply that by 10 (given how homophobic society is) and that's what you have with this guy.
