None, remakes in general are a bad idea, enjoy the games as they are and let the developers focus on creating new games, with new characters and new stories.

This.  The old games would be ruined with a remake.  Especially my favorite, 6.  That would be a complete disaster.

I don't see how the 2D ones would be ruined

Because they'd have to rewrite the dialogue. Or else FF6 would come across as too silly. how would ultros fit with voice acting, and they should get mark hamill to do kefka >_>... FFIV's remake voice-acting wasn't good imo... and FFV, they have to be in silly mode, for it to work. But in this game silly is good.

The main problem I have with remakes is it's just a way to cut costs of developing a brand new game and make some easy cash. It's lazy. The other thing is, the games are JUST FINE as they are, they don't need graphical updates to make them relevent today, if someone doesn't play a game because the graphics aren't up to par then it's their own loss for being ignorant.

And just as important many of the original staff who created older Final Fantasys are no long with Square, which would greatly influence how a remake came out in the end.
