3-5 years is a bit harsh for the penalty. Sure they were douchebags for what they did but it wasn't their idea for him to kill himself.
Maybe a year at most.
And honestly I have no empathy for people who kill themselves. He had a great life going (a good violinist and lots of friends) and he kills himself over a video? Get over it. Move to another school or something don't kill yourself. He took the cowards way out like a bitch.
