I don't really expect this to be like a castlevania game that much... it's like expecting 3D mario to be like 2D mario.

Aren't they the same game? Looks wise no, but gameplay wise its pretty much identical, other than for the hub world wich 3D games usually get.

not really no imo, 2D zelda is really close to 3D zelda... but, let me think of an analogy you might know beings I think you're the PC type, it's like comparing duke nukem to duke nukem 3D imo.
