@marciosmg:

I dont like the way certain people make religion relative nowadays.

They take this "it is whatever I want it to be, and if you say otherwise you are opressing me"approach and I dont like it.

ZOMG!!! You big Nazi!!! Your views are opressive!

There are a lot of religious people out there who are ignorant of their own faiths for a variety of reasons that have nothing to do with being lazy or having that approach I mentioned above.  So it would be wrong to make such affirmation about them.

Reasons such as?

Am I being clear

YEs you are, you big Nazi!

Zombie Nazi thank you very much. I eat your brain while I opress you.

The most obvious example is lack of education. There are philosophical and theological arguments to discuss when dealing with religions.

Someone who has no education wont be able to comprehend most of it.

But that doesnt mean they have no faith or dont care about their religion.

Now, let me eat your brain so we can stop derailing the thread.

So you need higher education to know who Martin Luther was, or who Moses was? And I suppose knowing the Ten Commandments also requires a college degree right? You know, this was what this study was about, not some deep philosophical issues.

Now stand still so I can use my shotgun, you Nazi zombie you!

So said higher education. Theres a lot of people in my country who havent finished elementary school.They dont know who discovered my country.

They will know Martin Luther.

Also, I regenerate quickly. I cant be killed.
