Entroper - the only issue about the cost of RockBand is the fact that (as far as I know), the perpherials are INSANELY expensive.
I've seen prices for the drum sets being quoted around the $60-$70 area. The Wii cannot give any special ability with the drum sets to offset the price, so assuming you buy the game at $50 + a $60 drum set, your still looking at something above the price of a Guitar Hero game. ...
Whereas you could/would pay about $50 more and get the guitar and Microphone with it. However, it would be neat to see if EA/Harmonix could somehow use the Wii microphone as an ad-hoc mic for the set, therefore reducing the price (or maybe not?)
