The game was HEAVILY marketed in the west, even if for the 360 rev.  Besides, I doubt Disney would allow it, they've had nothing but bombs on PS3 themselves.

Firstly, what have Disney released on PS3?

Secondly, what would Disney allowing it have to do with PS3 being able to support it exclusively.

Thirdly, Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3 alone has sold 4.27 Million in under a year. This is after exclusive 360 marketing of the game in the West.

Versus XIII is also still exclusive. And Metal Gear Solid 4 (Another Japanese game with big sales everywhere) has almost sold 5 Million copies on PS3.

On PS3 so far Disney released Turok, Pure, Toy Story 3, Pirates of the Caribbean, Bolt, Split/Second, Hannah Montana and several Disney Sing It Hits games.  All either bombed or had unremarkable sales on PS3.  Coming up, they only have TRON Evolution at this point.

I'd consider publisher and IP holder confidence to be part of platform ability.

4.27m isn't exactly great for FFXIII PS3.  Even DQIX sold more than that, which might be the first time something like that happened since the SNES days.

Versus days are numbered for exclusivity.  Even darth will admit to that, I'm betting FFXIII's PS3 sales only sealed the deal...
