The problem is that 99% of people try to win the argument rather than have an interesting discussion. I would rather lose an argument and learn something than "pwn a noob" if you get my drift -- but when you try to learn something, the noobs pwn you in the eyes of all the other noobs. I agree entirely. The adage about wrestling with pigs comes to mind. Ah, maybe it's a vice of mine. I'll work on it in the future but I can't promise anything.
