What is your take on evolution/old age earth?

you need to check the mathematical statistics discussed by Dr Hugh Ross and others who state clearly the earth is simply not old enough for life to have evolved in the time spans we talk about. The other challenge now is that even non believers in creation are doubting the previous models. Problem is this - from nothing comes nothing. End of argument. The point is this -

1. Whatever begins to exist has a cause.
2. The universe began to exist.
3. Therefore, the universe has a cause.

The universe cannot simply "cause" itself  - physics says that is impossible. So what do we do? Do we instead reach for ridiculous multiverse theories because we are too stuborn to consider the many arguments such as cause, fine tuning, moral values that a creator would answer?

It really is up to each of us to consider these deep questions. We can throw theories at each other or we can decide to examine the world, the arguments and look inside and see what we feel. Athiesm simply means anything we do accounts for nothing. The great art, music and writings of our history mean nothing. Our lives mean nothing because when we die and this blue marble we live on expires - no one will care. I cannot accept that. The many reasons and facts of fine tuning cause me to explore what science cannot explain.
