You kind of scare me. Separation of church and state is big in my book. Forcing religous organizations to pay taxes won't only not solve the debt, but also cause lots of resentment and uprisings. People want freedom to worship without any government intervention, and taking that away is not only a direct violation of the constitution, but would cause too many uprisings and revolts, possibly leading to a revolution.
A good idea? Maybe. Reasonable? Not really
