I'm interested to see what Sony does for the processor/gpu.
If they want to make it as powerful as cvurrent phones, it would skyrocket the current price to at least $400 unless they want to take heavy losses again (I don't see them doing it since they are still recovering from PS3). If they want to copy Nintendo's 3D it would also put a damper on the power as well.
I can see them releasing something 2-3 times as poweful as the 3DS if they ditch a 3d screen and want to keep the price low, if they want a 3D screen I would expect them to launch more expensive than the 3DS (50-100 more) to double the 3DS specs.
Sony does not want to have a system closer in power to the 3DS, they want the power, but they are going to have to make some sacrifices if they want it.
