I have said multiple times in previous comments that Bioware in 2010 is at a far better place than Blizzard was in 1998. Bioware has more successful franchises with rabid fanbases to make games for and like Blizzard, has a reputation for sterling quality games.
The DLC for Dragon Age is terribad. Absolutely atrocious. I love Dragon Age and have played through the campaign 3 times now, but I have never once been inspired by any of the Dragon Age DLC to put money down on it.
The only 3 games where I have paid for DLC are: Fallout 3, Grand Theft Auto 4, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
The bar for DLC that is better than the original game is The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. I can spend hours in each DLC, but not nearly as much in the original GTA 4.
